Cole, got into RWBY a while ago, and recently motivated myself to start trying fanart. Problem is: I have zero experience drawing. I can come up with ideas, I can even figure out how I want them to look, but making my hands do that is so difficult. I recently discovered Sycra and I've been devouring the stuff on his channel, but something I curious about is: what techniques should I try to practice first? I know I have to practice, but WHAT do I practice, you know?

I went to check on your ask while i was half way through the “answer” to the ask to see if i was actually going off-topic since i did’nt remember the question clearly.And then i saw you mentioned Sycra,i went and checked their Youtube channer and they actually cover really a lot of topics,so i really can’t say more that what the channel has to offer!Only Tip i can give you at this point is to take various references of your favorite artists.Having your own style is mostly using what you like from your references and make them work together.I’ll be leaving the stuff i was doing under the cut,maybe someone may find it useful¯\_(ツ)_/¯
