Idk if anyone talked about this, but I saw some discussions about the 4-way stop sign between Dean and Sam in the 12.04 scene, and then I kept scrolling and saw a gifset of Crowley and Cas in 12.03. Well, in the scene where they're trying to talk to each other with the truck in between, there's a 3-way stop sign behind Crowley. Just something I noticed, but I'm not good at metas.

Yeah, a bunch of folks pointed out the 3 way stop in 12.03, and we were commenting on the 4 way in 12.04. Like everything in s12, it could be referring to all sorts of things.

A while ago creation did promo shots for some of their merchandise, by letting J2M wear a few of their SPN themed shirts. The shirt Jensen was wearing was a shirt with Destiel fanart on it. :p

It seems like you want to rewatch only episodes with real Mary, so I guess the episode with Eve as Mary isn't what you're looking for. I think those are all the Mary episodes.

I think it’s ultimately going to depend on time. I’m doing the work of 3 people at work next week and really want to rewatch (at least) 21-23 again on Thursday before the episode airs. So if everything cooperates and I have time, sure I’ll watch the Eve episode. 

Because it is very important in terms of mothers on this show and the only one of the lot that doesn’t make me cry.

Wasn't Dean also possessed by the Soul Eater in 11.16? I think that might've been the first time he was possessed by something, but I'm not sure.

Ooh hi! I remember writing something about this a while back... but yeah. Dean’s BODY was possessed by the Soul Eater so it could attack Sam, but Dean’s SOUL, aka the entirety of Dean’s consciousness and awareness, was trapped in the Soul Eater’s nest at the time. Only Dean’s entirely lifeless meatsuit was possessed. The Soul Eater wasn’t sharing Dean’s body with him at the time, and Dean wasn’t aware of the Soul Eater’s actions while his body was being borrowed that way.

So yes, his flesh was technically possessed, reanimated by the Soul Eater, but Dean wasn’t home at the time. And that makes this feel a little bit different from just a standard possession, you know?

Sam would’ve told Dean what happened after the fact, but unlike Sam while possessed by Gadreel or Meg, Dean had no personal first-hand memories of the events, because everything Dean was not present.

Hi! I love your art and I was wondering if you could help me with an art project of mine. I have to make a monochromatic painting of anything, and I want it to be Supernatural-related. Any ideas? I wanted to do a Cas profile but I'm bad at faces.

hey there!! thank you so much for the lovely compliment, friend! and for believing in my art skills enough to want to ask me for an artsy advice too! i mean i don’t go to art school and i’ve never really tried my hands on anything monochromatic, but i’ll try!

hmmmmm. well my very first gut is to tell you that art is not really about the accuracy of a drawing, and more about - as cheesy as this may sound - expressing yourself and your passion. so if you want to draw cas’ profile in many shades of blue or red or pink? go for it! and if realism isn’t your thing? go for a cartoony approach! or even abstract! heck, you could even use dog poop as your paint and i wouldn’t care as long as you have fun doing it.

but on the other hand, i understand how sometimes i don’t want to take the risk of not feeling good about my drawings, so i tend not to stray too far away from what i usually draw and choose to stay in my comfort zone instead. god knows i’ve tried avoiding drawing hands and feet my whole life (they’re so BENDY and FLEXIBLE which put them in SUCH A WIDE RANGE OF MOTION and- and theyre so…so FINGERY) so if you really don’t feel like drawing profiles, then maybe i can try helping out with a few suggestions!

since you didn’t specify on which parts of the character you’re allowed to draw (close up, bust, waist and up, etc) i’m assuming you’re given the freedom to draw anything, right? so how about a full body view of cas and his wings from the back? huge wings all stretched out with his coat flapping in the air maybe? bonus points if he’s also holding an angel blade, looking all like the kickass angel that he is B-)

or or or! a symbolization of your favorite episode maybe? (mine is probably On The Head Of A Pin, so maybe i’d draw scorched out wings? the devil trap alastair was tied to? i don’t know, these are just things i can list off the top of my head!) or hmmm. sam and dean as lucifer and michael? your favorite monster of the week? your favorite otp moment? a team free will silhouette?? honestly i could keep going but i have a feeling that this answer would end up being unnecessarily long and nobody wants that :))

Ooooh my!!! Hello there!! Thank you for saying hello and paying me such a compliment :)

Monochromatic palettes are great for Supernatural-related subjects! I don’t know how you feel about people vs. objects, but a stylized view of the Impala is immediately what jumps to mind. If you want inspiration, looking at screencaps from the show is another great place to start. (Check out blogs like this or look at this tag) They are still recognizable as Supernatural, but offer a kind of artistic view of the show. Americana blogs are also a neat source for Supernatural-related aesthetics. A friend of mine runs a really cool one.

As for people, maybe a symbolist portrait of Julian Richings as Death? Or, you know, Amara: the darkness. That has the potential to be really cool. One thing that fandom lacks is art with female subjects, so any angel or female character of your choosing (like Claire) would be a great portrait as well.

If you have trouble with faces, I’d suggest playing with silhouettes and shadows, or maybe back-facing subjects. There are ways to get around drawing faces even with human subjects :)  You can also check out my black and white tag for ideas of how to play with the palette!
