Where I Went:
Hey, y'all! I have been dormant the last two-ish weeks, and I wanted to make sure everyone knew what happened (nothing too bad, I promise):
So, as some of you guys know, but mostly for those who don’t, I'm from Florida, and about two weeks ago we were hit by Hurricane Ian. Thankfully, where I live wasn't too impacted outside of lost power and flooding (compared to other parts of the state that experienced flash floods and downed power lines, etc.).
During the hurricane, my car flooded on the inside a little bit and I had to deal with the aftermath of fixing my carpets while also prepping for midterms that the law school pushed back because of the Hurricane. Thankfully, I am past midterms now, my car is doing well again, and things in my area are starting to return to normal.
I’m fortunate that everything in my life is sort of coming back to a semblance of normalcy, but that’s not true for everyone here in Florida. If you can, please consider donating to a Hurricane Ian relief fund!
