Hello Ghosts and Ghouls! Nice to meet you, my name is Bootilda! I thought it’d be nice to make my first post a short introduction of who I am and what kind of blog this will be, and thought that the day I made this blog would be perfect to do so. First, I love tea. I’ve been passionate about tea for the majority of my life, and wanted to share that love with the world via my blog. I do have another blog that isn’t on tumblr, and will share links to that soon. I’m hoping to share some fun tea posts here ranging from reviews and other creative things in the near future, so stay tuned! The type of tea that I love are milk tea, boba (I switch between black tea with honey, taro, earl grey lavender, and milk tea,) earl grey tea blends, matcha, genmaicha, and hojicha (both as a powder for tea lattes and the tea itself.) I love spooky things, ranging from different television and movies, as well as games and books. I even resonate strongly with my sona, which is a cute lil witchy ghost made by my love, Krazy Bones. (I’m going to make a different post about my sona specifically, but one thing at a time!) I really want to share some spooky book reviews and other types of spooky reviews in the future as well. I am a fan of the Romantic Era for literature and it’s inspired me in how I write. Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein still has left an impression on me to this day. I love Japanese language and a lot of their culture. I have grown up with a lot of different types of Japanese media ranging from movies, shows, literature and more. I am currently self-studying Japanese with my dream of becoming a translator (until I can get a personal coach, this is the approach that I am taking.) I am a huge Godzilla fan, Monster Hunter fan, Sentai Warriors fan, a Cyborg 009 fan. I currently discovered Murakami Haruki a couple of autumns ago, and am enjoying “The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle” as we speak. I want to make this blog not just about my journey towards accomplishing my translator dream, but to also share some other things that I love. I feel like I have a space that I can express myself and my passions more openly. I look forward to sharing more about myself as time goes on, and getting to know you all too. Thank you for stopping by!
Welcome to Ghostly Readings,
Your (possibly) friendly neighbourhood horror blog.
We’re gonna start posting some spooky things soon but before we get to that, we’d like to ask for some suggestions.
Should we compile information about flight 370? Or just some weird coincidences?
Or would you like us to talk about something a little more ghostly like a woman in white? Grossly creepy children or dolls?
Or maybe you have stories of your own? Feel free to message us or tag us in any of your own experiences, we’d love to hear them and attempt to make sense of them.
So, as our own little introduction we invite you to follow us, message us and keep an eye out for some ridiculously demonic occurrences or just some crazy strange coincidences.
