Today is my stop for the #rockstarbooktours #blogtour for Traitor’s Hope ⚔️🖤⚔️ Guys! This series 🖤😍🖤 the sequel picks up right where Blade’s Edge leaves off. The world building and character development continues to be impressive, expansive and very well-developed. In a world after war, picking up the pieces isn’t easy. Mishi and Taka have to face their own demons, and deal with the aftermath of violence. Sometimes winning the war is only half the battle. They still face the violence of the old regime and find that shaking off deeply ingrained biases and perceptions are not as easy as they imagined. McClain shows us what fighting PTSD looks like and gives us a piercing psychological look into the impact of long term abuse and brainwashing. The depth of this series is stunning! Full review on my blog, link in my bio ⚔️👩🏼💻⚔️ another HUGE thank you to Rockstar Book Tours for including me on this tour!!! I am amazed and in love with this series 🖤 today’s #spookathon prompt is #spookycolors ☠️ since black is my go-to color, and I don’t find it creepy at all, I’m going to go with the ominous shades of grey today! Grey reminds me of fog, swirling through trees or creeping through streets. And there can be some seriously scary stuff hiding in its murky depths. Smoke, clouds, rain, even creepy lakes all have shades of grey lending them a menacing tone 😱☠️😱 what color do you find spooky???
