As such, the townspeople must be strong to endure such a constant threat.
There are many strange traditions in the town to ensure that the towns strength never wanes and the strong thrive.
On the first full moon following their eighteenth birthday, every citizen in the town must endure a test of strength, wit, and skill. A team of hunters will be selected and on the night of the full moon, they must avoid being caught by the hunters.
Our story opens on the eve on one such hunt.

That’s true. Pretty unfortunate. Perhaps I should set out to do a little screencapping of my own. I do remember that one furisode girl to be extremely cute. But yeah, in general pokemon games have shitty representation. XY does make a step forward since it actually has the option for black player characters.Edit: There’s also three gym leaders that aren’t white, and a bit more trainer classes with diversity as well. Preschoolers, Rangers and Skytrainers come to mind. I think there’s more but I can’t confirm that because my memory is shoddy and I can’t find screenshots.
