Spooky Seavey - Halloween Imagine.
It was late at night and the cold of the big quiet house washed over you, making you want the warmth of your boyfriend Daniels arm around you as you cuddled up onto the couch. You two had the house to yourselves as all the boys were out, and you wanted to enjoy as much time with Daniel as you could. Suddenly, Daniel hops over the couch quickly, instantly embracing you and placing a bowl of popcorn into your lap, a smile on his face as he takes hold of the remote, starting up a horror movie that was playing due to the lead up of Halloween hype. “I’m glad we get to do this. Just the two of us. Alone.” Daniel speaks softly, his arm now securely around you and a soft kiss to your forehead. You hum in delight at his touch. The movie is starting to slow down, implying a jump scare is about to occur, and as your tired self is already pretty on edge about the house and it’s uneasy silence, you try your best to ignore it. The house creaks sometimes, it’s nothing. Expect for the fact in the back of your mind you can hear the house creak down the dark empty hall to your right. “Are you okay, beautiful?” Daniel asks, noticing your sudden tension. “Yeah, i’m good. Just thought I heard something, that’s all.” You smile up at him, not being able to control your eyes shifting over to the hallway. You try your hardest, but swear the creaks are accumulating. “Did you hear that?” You ask Daniel, sitting up slightly, hearing a thud from down the hall. “I didn’t hear anything?” Daniel shakes his head, confused. “It sounds like someone’s in the house.” You turn to him, hugging the bowl of popcorn close to your chest. “No one’s home babe. It’s probably just the wind-” Then suddenly you heard a door slam shut, causing you to jump and the popcorn bowl once in your lap flew up into the air and all over the both of you. Completely ignoring the mess, Daniels eyes are staring widely at the hall before admitting, “Okay, that was a little spooky.” “A little?!” You whisper yell at him with wide eyes. “Well I mean, there’s only one way to find out what it was.” Daniel says, taking your hand in his and intertwining your fingers, his eyes radiating a look telling you to trust him. You’re hesitant at first, but oblige. Walking down the dark hallway, your feet tap softy against the cold flooring, trying to be quiet. You’re both walking, focused, toward the door you heard slam, when suddenly, just as Daniel reaches for the door handle, it pulls open abruptly, causing Daniel to jump back and scream, then a scream leaving you as you hug Daniel close, but in the background of your shock you can hear another screaming voice. “Wait, Zach?! You scared the life out of us, man!” Daniel practically screams. You try to steady your breathing as your eyes focus on none other than Zach himself, standing in the doorway. “I’m sorry? I didn’t know my presence would be that traumatic.” Zach half jokes, walking out of the room toward you. “My heart is racing so fast.” You whisper into Daniels chest, his arms comforting you instantly. “Awe I’m sorry, Y/N. I should have told yo- Wait, why is there popcorn in your hair?” He suddenly interrupts himself, causing your slight quick breaths to turn into a genuine laugh, resting your head on Daniels shoulder. Authors Note - IT IS OFFICIALLY HALLOWEEN IN AUSTRALIA and the both of us are hype! Despite no one really celebrating it here, we are still defiantly in the spooky spirit, Happy Halloween everyone! 🎃
