Me yapping about the process below the cut~

I actually started in this between Acts 8 and 9 (I had grand dreams about painting the armor details. Alas, had to throw in the towel there.)

Flower choice was based more on the in-game scenery though I thought the symbolism still carried some weight. Man, did that end up being a more poetic choice than I thought :')

Glaze also did NOT play nice with this so I threw an Anti AI stamp on it. I did also use my regular watermark, but I hated how it looked I made it really faint to the point I'm not sure you can see it upon upload lmao opps

Tried some new things out with rendering. Learning curve for sure, but I'm pleased with the final piece! Here's some progress shots as well as my major references. Cheers!

Twitter seemed to be buzzing about Hugo/InnerDemon!Hugo last week, and I had the thought about re-doing Dracula movie posters with Hugo so here we are.

More thoughts under cut!

I *loved* the sketch when I came up with this idea, but I'm feeling kind of lukewarm about the final product. I messed with the values today before posting which helped a little, but idk. I tried like, five different ways of lineart before I basically smashed them all together into a messy sketch because it didn't look right anymore lol

I also referenced JC Leyendecker again because I hate the way I draw necks lmao. I wish my art had more ✨shape✨ to it naturally, and I really like Leyendecker's stuff in that regard 👍 Practice makes perfect I suppose just gotta be patient jfkdl;sajf
