foraying for the first time into the world of the spoonies here and am super grateful for you all because it’s a very bizarre and lonely experience over here having fibro and daily migraines and histamine intolerance and who knows what all else and trying to stay positive through all that. and i’m doing my best to not put more weight on my bf than is already on him just living with me so i’m not going to talk to him about how shitty my body feels when he gets home (he supports me in so many necessary ways. i have to be strong about how i verbalize so i don’t make him sad all the time.) but i need company. and it makes me feel less crazy to see you all posting about your experiences honestly and with dark humor and i just want to say thanks. and if you’re hanging out in the mood to give advice, leave me a note - i’d love to hear anything you have to say.

Me: I endured yet another day of severe, all-over body aches, nausea, fatigue, a dozen trips to relieve my bowels, moments of intense anxiety and deep feelings of self-hatred and resentment. So I got through another day of that...which I think is something.
