Brainfog (if only it was that peaceful) ☁️

So much of healthcare still relies on the patient’s ability to advocate, organize, and persist. But fatigue, brain fog, and systemic barrier
It's incredibly hot again, 33°C here. I had felt my thoughts were soupy and slow, but didn't connect why until now. I forget this high temperature really affects me, it seems it does even when I'm managing to keep cool well like today! I've posted before mentioning how when I'm already in brainfog I can easily miss things 🤔
I might make a note for future: temperature above 30°C = brace for brainfog!
Me thinking: should i really wake up my mom to make me a hot water bottle right now? I'm not that shaky. I think. I'm not that badly out of it either, am i? It's 4am i don't want to wake her up i can totally do it myself!
Me, remembering my mom nearly begging me to please wake her so she can pour the hot water instead of waking her up so she can drive me to the hospital for burns:...
Me: you know i think i'll just wake her up real quick
flag id: a flag with 5 stripes, with the third being twice as large as the rest. they are light bluish-grey, medium dark bluish-grey, light faded red, medium dark purplish-grey, and light grey. end id.
banner id: a 1500x150 teal banner with the words ‘please read my dni before interacting’ in large white text in the center. end id.
a brain fog flag for use on @mogai-headcanons!
the larger inner stripe represents the brain and the outer stripes are literal fog colors, representing clouded consciousness. this flag can be used for brain fog with any cause.

[The Great Drumstick Dilemma]
[POV: You’re three coffees deep and the drive-thru worker starts asking philosophical questions. 🍗✨
There is truly no specific brand of panic quite like being asked "which side?" and your brain immediately choosing anatomy over appetizers. We’ve all been there—standing at the counter or sitting in the car, buffering like a 2005 YouTube video while the person behind the glass waits for you to remember how food works.
Is it a left leg or a right leg? Does the chicken even know? Honestly, at this point, just give me the mashed potatoes and let me retreat into the shadows. This is your sign that if you’ve survived the "you too" after a waiter says "enjoy your meal," you can survive this. Stay strong out there, besties.]

I'm currently writing a dirtier fic (I failed focusing only on one fic at a time, and made a new wip...), and the synonyms for those specific words I have searched tickle my brain in the most perfect way possible. The words are so tasty to use...
