      whenever a new patient arrived at the asylum, john was usually one of the first in taking initiative trying to get to know them. he hadn’t had much luck so far finding potential friends, as most of the time, they were either too cautious and unwilling to trust, or they were struggling too much with their own issues to be worth even trying. but you never knew... and so, during lunch, as he spotted the new face sitting at one of the benches by herself, john slid his food-tray with him three tables down to hers, taking a seat right in front of her, and greeted her with a friendly smile.   “ hi... rough day, huh? ”

      “Your energy readings are off the charts.” The Doctor spoke as she slowly scanned the woman with her sonic. Brows were knitted together in confusion. Had she seen this before? It felt a bit familiar, yes. But, a few memories were missing in her brain. That was a big problem that followed her since her last face. 

        There was a gasp when her sonic sparked. Her thumb burned, which she quickly placed her mouth over to cool it down. “You’re misbehaving today.” She muttered at the sonic and pocketed it. “Sorry. New body. New sonic. Have we exchanged names?” The Doctor smiled in glee.

But Tess, it is SIN day. Which means I am allowed to break the law and such, why don’t you just let me have a bit of fun.

“ It doesn’t quite matter at the moment.”

Free hand clutches tightly to her arm, feeling the crimson make it’s travel down her skin before finally making it’s mark on the canvas of concrete beneath their feet.

  “ It matters if breath still lingers within their body. ”

Her voice is cold regardless of somewhat tender act of reaching for Tess’ arm. A piece of her robe makes for a makeshift bandage and  thought of serving LIFE in this act draws a scoff from crimson lips.  Only in looking at Tess does she soften, if only a touch. 

           “ ---- you’ll live. ”
