a quick laugh slipped from his lips; a convenient shield for the truth. not even the other psychiatrists here could even imagine the things he had done before he had come here. and they never would. “these sessions aren’t about me, john,” he rebuffed lightly, though the fact was that this statement was true as well. to a certain degree, he was open. he didn’t mind sharing trivial details. he gave off the illusion of openness. but those things that mattered most? somehow, he never had to reveal them. he’s a clever man who did exactly what he needed to do to put on a good facade. “go on.” he can’t help but be curious; was that unethical? this profession was based upon picking apart and stitching together a person’s greatest secrets and weaknesses. but for as long as he could remember, he’d always wanted to know everything about everyone.

funny how all his doctors kept telling him that. the minute the focus was on them, they hid behind the same convenient excuse.  “ shame. i imagine there’s a lot of interesting things to learn about you...”  he muttered, thoughtfully, not pushing the topic further. not yet. instead, his gaze fixed onto his doctor, smile growing a little wider on his lips as thomas urged him to continue. “ you’ve probably been wondering the same thing as all the other doctors here — my missing records.”  no name. no file on what he had done to get here. no nothing. john himself had claimed to not remember anything himself, making him quite the mystery patient, but now? now he was about to offer a different kind of story. would it be a truthful one? a lie? of course, there would be no way to tell. but it would be an interesting story nevertheless.  “ you know, i remember the sessions i had with my very first doctor here. the one who had all the records on me.”  the one who had just up and vanished without a trace. of course the details about her vanishing would be the most interesting bit of the story.  “ what if i were to tell you about those sessions... and what really happened to her?”

bruce wayne  was a creature of habit. sitting in clothing out of his comfort zone, he watched John with skeptic like vision. could this really be him? he released a heavy sigh, pinching the bridge of his nose. what has he gotten himself into now ?

scanning the bar with his eyes,  a wide, excited grin was quick to spread across his lips once he spotted the familiar face, sitting by one of the tables further in the back.  “ BRUCE! buddy!”  john exclaimed, waving, and, walking over to the table, he took a seat opposite of him.  “ i didn’t think you’d actually show up.”  especially considering john hadn’t even told him what they were doing. he’d just said it would be a surprise. but then again, he had a feeling that’s exactly why he’d showed up.

My Opinion on;

Character in general:  i really like the joker blogs’ portrayal of harleen a lot. it’s always fun to see different takes on her before she becomes harley and i think the joker blogs are one of the more solid takes on her? i especially love how she’s not just immediately giving in to 4479′s manipulative behavior during their first session like a lot of other portrayals of harleen in canon material does.How they play them:  admittedly, since i haven’t followed you for too long, i haven’t seen that much of your writing yet, but from what i’ve seen so far, you write her really, really well! i think you’ve got a good grasp of her mindset and how after taking on 4479 as a patient, it is starting to affect her a lot. and i’m excited to see more of your portrayal!The Mun:  we haven’t really talked ( which i’ll admit is my fault bc i completely forgot to reply to your im and then i just kinda flopped and got worried i’d taken too long to respond u-u ) but you seem really nice!

Overall Opinion:   i’m super excited to see a harleen blog, especially one based around the joker blogs series because there’s not a lot of rp blogs with muses from that series, which is a shame bc it’s a really good one! i’m also looking forward to seeing your take on her in particular, and how her and john’s interactions will go, since he’s very different from 4479, and harleen in the joker blogs is also pretty different from harley in telltale.   || @find4479 ||
