What are the weirdest or straightforward wrong spore theories you've ever heard of?

I'll start

1. Steve is the Grox' prisoner. Why just why, he flies away from the Galactic Core at the end of the cutscene

2. Masaari became extinct due to their war with the Grox. Just didn't stand the test of time as we now know some Masaari lore like the fact that they lived in jungle. But sounds cool for an AU or spore OC lore, I've even used it for my AU, the Grox empress wanted to kill all the Masaari just because they existed

3. Steve has bought The Earth / is a planet trader. Half theory half headcanon and I like it but still... Russian fandom thing, it's the result of a mistranslation, instead of the "We are nearly sold out on the last phase of a wonderful time-share opportunity on one of our larger stars- -and a rare planet in its orbit" line it's something like "We were finishing up some negotiations here and have almost bought ourselves a large star system... There's an interesting planet there..." in Russian. In their defense, still sounds kinda in Steve's character

4. The Grox are humans / Masaari are humans. It's weird but honestly I like it?? Has some creepy spec evolution vibes, something like All Tomorrows

I finally got around to making a page about fusärk lore (that's what my fursona/sporesona is). This took way too long to make but here it is I guess.

The text reads...

Fusärk Documentation

Fusärks have a reptile-like snout, horse ears, tusks, antennas, fluffy manes, bird wings, opposable front paws and canine back legs with a long fluffed dino tail. They usually have shades of yellow, brown & grey fur but some of the unusual variations can be, light yellow/cream, white, dark purple and dark blues. Their eyes are most commonly blue, green, yellow and purple. Rarer variations are red/pink, silver and orange.

Fusärks originated from the planet Verdantis, a lush planet covered in different creatures. They can regulate their body temperature in most climates with their antennas, despite having so much fur. They are also omnivorous but most tend to enjoy fruits and greens over fish and meats, their tusks help them bite into large, tough fruits and vegetables. They are also fairly swift fliers but they can tire quickly from flight.

Civilizations of fusärks and their captains usually favor non-violent means of doing things, this is also why it's looked down upon to eat lots of meat. They are usually friendly when visiting an alien planet and towards alien visitors. They can be unfriendly towards other fusärks who have failed to do so.

Fusärks are an intelligent spacefaring species that tend to favor a non-violent approach to most situations.

Their fur tends to be some shades of yellow, brown & grey and their mouths blue and or purple. There are rarely variations from this.

They mainly eat things made from fish and fruit, some do occasionally enjoy cooked meats but it's looked down upon to eat a lot of meat.

The planet Verdantis is home to the fusärk population but is also home to many other wild, tropical creatures.

this is where the story begins. Again, I'll begin with the grox.

My idea of what happened is a genuinely sad story, but it feels right to me.

The grox are notably intelligent, despite their small, weak statute. They're obviously cyborgs now, but, presumably, they did not evolve that way.

I believe that the Grox made it to space, and reached out. They desired connections, ad they were weak, but happy creatures. They did not need to be strong on their home planet, whether they lacked predators, or simply learned to avoid them, so, they were kind.

But, the other aliens saw the grox as less than. It's obvious that many archetypes are eager to pick on whoever won't fight back, and the grox were easy targets. Eager and naive.

They were shut down, their identities as a proper, space bearing race were questioned and diminished, they were bullied down, and down, and down. And, it crushed them.

But, the grox were intelligent. So, they backed off. They fell into obscurity, and they bided their time. They created weapons, they modified their bodies, they were told that they were not good enough, so, by their perception, they made themselves better.

And then, when they re-emerge, they realized that they were ahead. Not by much, but they were finally able to begin reaching out. To grow, and to expand, and they improved their weapons and their prosthetics with each generation.

They started going to war with the people who had tormented them before, and their superior weaponry, and their easier to meet needs, gave them the power to win.

The Grox are a jaded race, in my opinion. They're spiteful, and objective, and cruel, and why wouldn't they be? When they were the weaker people, they were treated horribly. As they see it, everybody else is weaker now, and it's their turn.

The Grox are a notably isolated race. They're their own archetype, they're hated by everybody else in the galaxy, and they're far beyond caring.

Look at this guy. I can't help but feel so bad for him.

How did you guys interpret the story of the game Spore? Between the Grox, and Steve, and Spode? I found learning it on my own so genuinely amazing, but I realized that by growing up with the game since before I could read, and having an accumulative ten thousand gours in the game, that most of my idea of the story is entirely interpretation, based on so many tiny details.
