Does your period end when you start spotting or when spotting ends? This is a question that’s plagued me for the last 9 years I’ve had my period and google is no help.

Every person's menstrual cycle is different — including how many days your period lasts and how heavy your flow is throughout your period. Some people spot or have light bleeding early in their period, some periods consist of mostly spotting, and some end with spotting after heavy bleeding. Once the bleeding has stopped completely, meaning you’re not spotting, you can consider your period over.
