My DIY spray booth and fume extraction setup. The plans for the spray booth I found online. The blower on the back is around 240-250 cfm with that short a run of 4″ duct. Works really well, even with lacquers and rattle can primers which are notoriously smelly. The ductwork is connected with pop rivets and then sealed with metal duct tape to minimize leakage. When I’m done spraying I just pull in the wooden flange at the top and close the window. When it was all said and done, the spray booth ran me a couple of hundred bucks (Canadian) and the ducting was another 50 bucks. Well worth it to me since it works great and bought retail, would have been significantly more. The 12X24 furnace filter is easily replaceable. I just happened to have the LED light in the garage so I re-tasked it. Link is below:

How a Solvent Recycler Can Revolutionize Spray Booth Operations
Enhancing spray booth performance isn’t just about technique—it's about integrating smart solutions. One of the most transformative additions is solvent recycling, a sustainable approach that reduces waste and cuts operational costs. Spray booth operators can experience noticeable improvements in efficiency and cleanliness with the adoption of this eco-friendly practice.
Incorporating a solvent recycler machine into your workflow can significantly streamline cleaning processes while reducing solvent purchase and disposal costs. These machines purify used solvent, allowing it to be reused multiple times without compromising quality. The result is cleaner spray booths, less hazardous waste, and increased cost savings. This innovation not only supports environmental goals but also boosts productivity across automotive, industrial, and paint sectors. Businesses adopting solvent recycling are quickly recognizing the long-term value of operational sustainability and reduced overhead costs.

The Spray booth filter or extractor is a revolutionary new product that provides an easy and effective way to remove overspray from a spray
Filter For Spray Booth are one of the most common types of spray booth filters, used in both downdraft and crossdraft booths. This is because paint booth intake filters strain the air that is flowing into the booth, removing as much contamination as possible.
The filters protect workers inside and outside the booth, as well as the local environment around the workplace from being exposed to paint overspray. These systems are mandated by the National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants

Filters are systems or elements used to remove substances such as dust or dirt, or electronic signals, etc., as they pass through filtering media or devices. Filters are available for filtering air or gases, fluids, as well as electrical and optical phenomena.
Air is drawn through a filter into a spray-dryer using a fan. The filter not only prevents contamination of the product, it also removes particles that could possibly ignite. The air is heated through direct or indirect heating.
An exhaust filtration system must be installed and maintained on all spray booths. In order to achieve at least 98% capture efficiency per the National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants
With a MERV rating nearing 16, HEPA filters provide the highest protection for your home. They're able to remove even the smallest microns or airborne particles, including tobacco and bacteria. Those who live with allergies or other respiratory issues may benefit from HEPA filters the most.
The stainless steel bag filter housing is the simplest and most economical solution for filtering industrial paints.
Clearcoat temperature and application temperature. Controlling the clearcoat temperature before applying it, and also that of hardeners and solvents, is a differentiating factor. Under standard conditions, the clearcoat should always be at room temperature, around 20-25ºC.
Filter For Spray Booth must be a minimum of 55 degrees Fahrenheit for automotive paint with a catalyst to dry. For paint booths with an air heater, the rule of thumb in the automotive industry is that for every 15 degrees above 70 degrees, a coating will cure about twice as fast (assuming 50 percent relative humidity)
