Hey... Psst... for anyone with trouble reading large blocks of text, or just anyone who wants to read faster:
Download Spreed. It’s a chrome extension that lets you speed read any text you can highlight. It shows you one word at a time in quick succession (you can change the speed, of course), letting you watch the words go by almost like a movie.
By letting your brain read the word without having to sound it out (how we normally read, but not a necessity for comprehension), you can read a lot faster. It also means your eyes can’t jump around the page.
I’ve been using spreed on and off for about a year, and I’ve found that since my brain is a little better trained at quick reading, it actually helps me read any chunk of text a little faster even without it. I’d really highly recommend it.
