As usual, wanting some decent pictures and corresponding fluff delays all my posts. I haven't written here in a few months, but my brushes didn't rest !
My latest work is these Sylvaneth for AoS. We are starting a narrative campaign at my LGS and I decided to unearth my Trees from my hobby shelves and start working on this project !
The theme for my Clan revolves around the 4 seasons, so each unit in my army will be painted in the corresponding color scheme. The narrative campaign is about the invasion of a Free City of the Realms. The forces of Spring have decided that it was time to wipe this stain from the Realms, and are the first deadly wave sent towards the city walls.
Earrach, The Surging Blossom, is one of the four Loremasters of the Clan. Seen as impetuous for a Treelord Ancient, he has always been a strong proponent for more aggressive actions against the threats to the Sylvaneth's territories. When a golden comet struck the city at its heart, Earrach seized the opportunity to lead the vanguard and convince the other households to join the fight.
Alongside him, the Vernal Daughters are fighting with wrathful fury. These Dryads are not the most experienced or enlightened of the clan, but they are the most vigorous and ferocious. Quick to anger, they are the embodiment of the Sylvaneth’s vitality and indomitable will to take the realms back from the tainted claws of Chaos.
