Although well versed in Midwifery and having delivered many of the babes in Roche Rock, Phoebe was perhaps not expecting to have to administer to herself. She ends up having a healthy baby boy right next to the sea, and once he is born she quickly realised that her baby is not perhaps the result of her dalliance with her fellow peasant, but perhaps a gift from her attendance at the spring faire. There is something of the divine in him which she can sense immediately. She names him Anselm after her father just the same, unsure what name one gives a Demi-Saint, as Roche Rock has never had one as far as the tales go. (Anselm is the result of me testing my multi-pt mod and I'm so excited to have him!! His other parent is technically Mother Summer and not Brother Spring, but Phoebe won't have a way to know that until he shows more Saintly Signs as he grows)

Baby Espen Cowcross, a baby boy is birthed outside, but doesn't seem any worse for wear for it.

As Alys was already aggressively pregnant at the start of the round, midwife Phoebe was summoned to help around the house and get ready for the upcoming birth. Alys is very excited to see her.

Lady and Nosewise (ignore the fact Nosewise is an Elder dog, he spent all his adulthood dog life either trying for puppies with Lady or licking his own pee puddles)

There is nothing much to recap regarding what Phoebe has been up to during the fall and winter months. She has been keeping up a relationship of convenience with Rayner Britton (a poulterer) but they both value their independence. However as Winter lifts and Spring descends, Phoebe seems to have picked up a fairly serious illness and spends most of the beginning of the season in bed recovering as she did not stock enough reagents to cure herself. Mincemeat, who looks like a completely different cat from the introductory post due to the fact I had to remake all the sims in the neighborhood, watches over her master. ROS 4.1: Pneumonia

Both parents make sure baby Espen is cared for and loved.

Emery makes money by providing firewood, branches, and the bounties of the forest to the people of Roche Rock, as well as some wood-working goods. Additionally, his dogs Lady and Nosewise also have had two litters which help provide some additional income. The yeoman family the Fahlens, who manage the Hedge Tavern, and the Asche's both have pups from Lady and Nosewise. However, pictured is little Argent who Alys has taken a liking to.

INTRODUCTION: cowcross

Emery was raised by his sister, never having known his parents. After he came of age, she was able to find a husband herself and start the family she always wanted- unfortunately for him, her husband was from the next village over. Managing their woodcutting business himself was dificult, but made easier with his two small dogs Lady, a Spaniel, and Nosewise, a beagle. However, when he met Alys, a wandering minstrel, he knew it was time to settle down and start his own family. Alys had always dreamed of having a family of her own. She was orphaned at a young age and taken in by a group of wanderers and entertainers, but she never had much of a passion for it, mostly cleaning and cooking for them rather than performing herself. She is happy to find a place her in Roche Rock and a true love connection in Emery. She is doubly excited now that they are expecting their first child.
