Spring Racing XVII.
After a slow start out of the gates, Spring is started to hit its stride. Hay fever hit the lead early but has started to wane, leaving the straight open to canapés, bubbles and deserts to duke it out. Yes, spring means one thing, The Spring Racing Carnival.
Outfitting:
Obviously you have to look the part, otherwise what’s the point? But don’t let the overall look of your event, fall at the final hurdle. Packaging is probably pretty low on the to do list but it is a cost effective and easy way to complete the look and feel of your event.
Wine:
Wine and usually an overindulgence of wine, is a key pillar to The Spring Racing Carnival. We have two distinct options for wine packaging, both of which are sourced from Europe.
Premium Range – Available in both single and double configurations, this option includes a handle and is open at the front. Comes in Gold, White and Natural.
Corporate Range – Our corporate range offers a more upmarket look and feel. It comes in both Navy and Nero, as both a single and double. The front opens to present the bottle or bottles. The double variant comes with two neck holders and is perfect for presenting a red and white. This option would be ideal to offer as a gift, during an event.
Sweet Nibbles:
We’ve all been there, perhaps we had a little too much to drink or perhaps the fuel reserves are running a little low, after celebrating a $1.20 favourite storming home. You’re in need of something sweet but it can’t tip the scales.
Macaroons, cupcakes, mini pavlovas and pastries come to mind. Barama have a comprehensive range of food packaging products, sourced mainly from Europe. Including:
Gourmet Food Packaging – Too often, the effort given to packaging, does not match that given to the food. It’s a delicate balance that can undo the hard work dedicated to your creation. Our range of Gourmet Food Packaging is sourced exclusively from Europe and can be used for a wide range of foods.
Transparent Packaging – Let’s face it, the food is the centre piece here. Our PVC Transparent range is diverse and completely food safe. Perfect for cupcakes, chocolates, macaroons and produce. Basically, whatever you need to show off!
Bonbonnieres – Serve a greater purpose than items left on wedding tables. They’re perfectly suited to smaller food items. Our entire Bonbonniere range is sourced from Italy. Be sure to explore the entire range online.
Picnic:
When the time comes for something with a bit more substance, a picnic or prepared food is the order of the day. Barama have an incredibly versatile hamper and produce range, available in a multitude of materials/fabrics and sizes.
Washable Paper – This intriguing material, has a similar look and feel to worn leather, yet is made from paper and is completely washable. Does what it says on the packet really! Available in a range of sacks and trays, they’re perfect for displaying gourmet food and produce.
Jute – Has been a stable of our range for some time now and for good reason. This is an incredibly versatile fabric can be dressed up or left to its rustic roots. Linen and Cotton – Our Linen and Cotton range covers similar ground to our jute offering, yet offers a more sophisticated nature. Mainly available in sack and tray configurations.
Cardboard – Our Cardboard range, is our most cost-effective option, yet don’t think that makes it the poor cousin. Tapered trays, boxes and hamper trays are perfect for serving and displaying food.
Know your Flowers.
Being Spring, it’s no real surprise that flowers play an integral role in The Spring Racing Carnival and it pays to know them. That includes you gents. Each key race day has a specific flower, which takes pride and place at the track and on the lapels of those gents, who actually know what is going on.
These flowers and their distinct colours, offer a classy vehicle for ensuring that your event is on theme and matches the race day. For example, anything other than yellow on Melbourne Cup Day is a significant faux pas and if you dare include a colour on Derby Day, it best be blue.
