I had a dream last night where the warner siblings get distracted by one of those spring door stop things and they all take turns bopping it to see who can make it spring the hardest. After a couple of hours, Dot's like "hey weren't we supposed to do something?" And Yakko gasps like "I ALMOST FORGOT!....." *bap*. More hours pass and Scratchinsniff arrives and is like "Okay, you kiddies ready for ze roadtrip?" to which Dot replies "WE FORGOT TO GO TO THE BATHROOM BEFORE THE TRIP!!!"
So I wake up with the headcanon that Scratchinsniff sees what the kids were so enamored by for hours, so he brings a big sensory board for them to share and play with. It's got all sorts of spring stops on it as well as other things and Yakko scoffs a little like "C'mon Doc, don't you think we're a little too old to play w-"
