Months ago I helped my sister to create this simple endless runner game for a challenge of the Apple Developer Academy she had to do. We couldn't finish it because we were busy doing other things. However in the end I managed to convince my sister to continue it because I didn't want our work to go to waste. The game was really very simple (even now) so we thought we'd add some changes. And the idea of ​​the shop was born with new clothes for the little mole (can't wait to show you more!!) I'm very happy to announce that, even though it's still a work in progress, our little #game is finally on the #AppStore (with a lovely Christmas theme!)!!! SpriteKit animations in Xcode

This is a small thing I noticed, but I didn't realize that Xcode has a built-in editor/timeline for animations for SpriteKit actions. I discovered this as I have been working on adding some user interface components for the tutorial screens in Indexing Your Heart, which I hope to complete by the end of the week.

Really easy for me to create a looping animation for moving a fake finger across the screen for the sake of a tutorial...

Creating a number predictor with SpriteKit and CoreML

I started playing around with a proof-of-concept for a puzzle system for Indexing Your Heart the past day or so. I wanted to have a validation system that would be lenient enough to recognize what the player drew and not penalize the player for being a pixel off. As a result, I came to the conclusion that creating a machine learning-based solution might be the answer.

So, I played with the Core ML model for the MNIST digit dataset and created this proof-of-concept that predicts the number a player draws in the box. Surprisingly, the system works pretty well and efficiently. Results come back almost instantaneously, and it was easy to create a path and take a screenshot of the game scene.

If any of this fancies you, I encourage you to take a look at the source code on GitHub. I think there's some value here that I can explore with in Indexing Your Heart.

SpriteKitで図形を描く

SKShapeNodeというクラスで図形を描くらしい。プロパティの「rectOf（レクトオブ）」を間違えてレクトゼロエフだと思い込んでしばしハマるという迷采配をやらかしました。

ignoresSiblingOrder → ノードツリーの親子関係・兄弟関係をレンダリングの際に気にするかどうか。Bool型で、falseだと古いものから新しいもの、親ノードから子ノードの順に描くが、trueだとそれらの関係を気にせず最適化された準備に描画します（参照元: http://spritekit.senchan-office.com/index.php/skview）

できたものはこんな感じで、本のお手本通りになってよかったです。

SpriteKitは一時やめます

いろんなサンプルを試してみてますが、どれをやってもエラーしか出ないので一時的にもうやめます。

バージョンも合ってるのに、コピペしたコードまでエラー出るのでもうダメです。

今度からARKitにしてみよう。少し慣れたらまた挑戦するかも。

Swift練習（SpriteKit）

SwiftのSpriteKitの使い方を勉強中。

なんかARKitを使っているものが面白そうだったのでやってみることに。しかし。

SceneKit Scene editorの仕様で詰まる。この機能、Apple純正のMagic Keyboardないと使えないのね。なんとか準備しました。

やってみたいのはこの「ARKitで動き出すポスターを作る」。

これだけたくさんの技術を元に動き出すポスターができているということです。でもちょっと情報を調べてて”モンハンの装備の作り方を調べてるみたいだな”と思ったり。

なお、この一連の技術をQiitaで解説している人は、GitHubで「ARKit EMPEROR」という活動もしている模様。こういう専門的な技術者さんが、いろいろと解説してくれてるのは本当にありがたい。
