This cutie isn't mine, but belongs to my wife. Her name is Poppy, and she was difficult to paint due to her sculpted eyelashes. At least she turned out really cute! I took these pics right after I finished her faceup. Anime faceups are still difficult for me, but I think I did a good job on her!
My wife has been in the hobby almost as long as me (only 1 month shorter), but she put it on standby for the last 7 or 8 years. She was still getting some dolls, like the Penny's Blind Box TeaParty centaurs (we got a herd), and once in a while I'd buy her a doll she liked. But this is the first doll she'd really fallen for in a long time. Poppy is her desk buddy, and it's nice to see her enjoying the hobby like this again.
The body is super cute and a chonk, and came wired from the company already. Dressing her was a task and a half as she's thicker than MDD and regular MSD dolls. For some reason the head is a different resin than the body despite having been bought as a full doll. The whole doll is made of resin and poses decently. Sitting is a little tough, as I think the wire is a little thick in her legs. But for $135 ($165 with wig) she's a very budget friendly and nice anime resin doll!
The what is what:

Eyes: 20mm plaster and resin anime eyes from Etsy (from a taobao reseller, we made sure they didn't sell recasts in any shape or from though!)
Outfit: Alice's Collection, in MDD size
Faceup: Me over at @izasfaceups
