Brouwerij Kees Spruce Willis (Picked up at Sterk in Amsterdam). A 3 of 4. Yep, this smells like spruce. Some slightly fruity notes behind it, but the spruce is dominant. Much the same in the body with some light malt sweetness and some lemon/pine sol qualities, too. Thankfully the nose is much bigger than the spruce in the body itself, and this finishes with quite a firm bitterness.
My Dwarf Alberta Spruce aka “Spruce Willis” has filled out a bit since I got him a little over a year ago. I just thought he looked nice in the sun this morning. Can’t wait for Spring!
