Elisabeth Vigee Lebrun French Collection by SpunkySweetie (BGC)
Elisabeth Vigee Lebrun was a talented French painter that was born in 1755, the same year as Maria Antonia, later Marie Antoinette. Her father, Louis Vigee was also a painter. She is most famous for being the painter of French Queen Marie Antoinette. This collection features items that she painted while in France and I hope to make other collections of her work. In total, she has created about 660 portraits and about 200 landscape paintings over the course of her life. She died in 1842 at the age of 86. Her daughter Julie who is in some of the portraits, died in 1819 at the age of just 39.
