Her eyes look empty, tired--as if she hadn’t slept in weeks. That wasn’t entirely inaccurate. 

Those damn Templar's had been on her heel for weeks. It was only in the large city where there were plenty if people to blend in to, that she had found a small amount of respite. So here she was, at a tavern. 

As he speaks, wary eyes turn to finally look at him. She blinked, tilting her head to the side after a small delay. Her reaction times were obviously inhibited, any half-intelligent person could gather that. 

“..sorry, I’m just a bit wary of strangers.” The words come out softly as her eyes focus forward once more. She didn’t recognize him in the slightest.

I’d give you cake but all i have is this promo banner ( and a box i need to send soon with mixed goodies ) we’ve known each other for a while now , and i am sure this is one of those friendships that last for a very long time . it’s morning on your end and i don’t know if you’re up yet , but i do hope you get some awkward birthday singing on the bed from whoever is there to celebrate my adorkable b-day girl .

Lasair fastened the soft, supple leather carefully, unable to hide a grin of her own at Alistair’s apparent excitement over his gift. She was blushing as well; even after they had talked about it, the idea of...this sort of play...Lasair still felt a bit shy about the whole thing. She’d never been put in a position like this before.

“It does,” she laughed quietly, tracing the embroidery of her husband’s name on the collar with a finger, “and I did. You’ve been so good to me, Alistair. So sweet and generous. I wanted to give you a gift as well.”

Lasair paused and glanced up at him. “Is this still alright? Something you want? Do...you like it?”

“You can make enemies even when you’re polite too though.”  One wrong word, or gesture, or...  Anything really, could be enough to piss off some noble with their head up their ass.  Particularly the Orlesian ones, they were truly something else.  

“The thing is though, is people expect you to be polite.  They’ve got this whole little song and dance planned out, how to answer this question, how to answer that one...  But if you straight up insult them, you catch them off guard and are more likely to react honestly because really, they ain’t got a response all ready to go.”

After the Blight

Zevran moved with swift feet through Castle halls toward the kings Bedroom. The sky had quite literally ripped itself clean open. He and the Mabari had woken early to the odd green rip in the sky. It took Zevran a solid thirty minutes of staring out of the window into the mountains to the West before he got around to getting dressed. The sight was so bizarre, the sickly green of the breach making the mountains look sick with poison. There’s a loud knock to Alistair’s door, as the Antivan hammers the wood with a fist. “Alistair! Alistair if you are not awake soon you need to be!”

Zevran has no idea if the Ferelden king is even IN his bedroom, but as the breach is on Ferelden land, he’s hoping to give his poor friend a heads up before every Ferelden in the land breaks down the castle's front gate wanting answers.

Angi ❤︎ You do so much justice to Morrigan and don’t tone her down just for people’s sensibilities. It takes courage to do something like that, but you already know this, you already know how much I admire your resilience about keeping faithful to your character. Apart from being Faithful to such a hard character you are also so incredible with graphics, your writing is the best thing to read and to say that you have made Morrigan your own while keeping her interpretation recognizable is wonderful. You have so many well composed verses beyond dragon age just wowie yes good.

Skitty ❤︎ Skitty already knows that I’ll follow her to hell and gone with all my characters. Such an engaging writer and willing to do dynamics that I really didn’t even expect or saw coming. I am a huge fan of Maxima’s and Michel’s dynamics what can I say? I’m also a fan of Maxima simply annoying Urie. I watched Tokyo Ghoul and it was probably one of the best things that I could have done considering I so very rarely manage to sit down and watch series, much less anime. She is just wonderful, all of her characters are wonderful and she hates them so much that she only wants their pain. And your pain. It’s great. I’m so happy to see her back with Michel :’)

We have never interacted and we’ve never spoken ooc I don’t think ( forgive me if we have, my memory is not great ) :’) You’ve always been extremely nice and unfortunately in terms of threads I’ve never been able to read them because of timezones. The only time that I think we’ve somewhat interacted was through crack which speaks for itself :’)

As as before, we’ve never interacted and we’ve never spoken ooc. I find your Alistair to be extremely sweet on the very small things that I was able to read, though, I’ve really read so little that it probably doesn’t mean much :’) sorry :’)) Still, I hope that ooc you are feeling better and to continue with your cosplay projects!

              SHE  DID  NOT  GET  TO  KNOW  WHERE  THE  CONTRACTS  CAME  FROM.    nor  had  she  ever  gotten  to  go  on  a  mission  with  Zevran  before.  he  was  funny.  she  had  long-since  decided  she  liked  him;  though  she  did  not  always  understand  his  jokes.  obviously,  the  GUILDMASTERS  had  thought  it  quite  advantageous  to  have  the  little  Crow  go  with  them:      what  perfect  bait,  after  all,  to  catch  DO-GOODERS  who  had  been  helping  PLIGHT  REFUGEES.  

                &  THAT  WAS  THE  PART  SHE  PLAYED.    poor  little  lost  girl;  dirty  and  wide-eyed.  standing  on  the  side  of  the  road  with  ragged  clothes  &  tearful  eyes.  Arya  knew  how  to  lure  them  in.  it  was  how  she  had  been  taught.  though,  apparently,  she’d  been  told  she  asked  too  many  questions.   weapons  didn’t  ask  questions. 

                WHY  DID  THEY  HAVE  TO  DIE?   WHAT  DID  THEY  DO?   WHO  SAYS  THEY  HAVE  TO  DIE? 

                IT  WAS  THE  REDHEAD  SHE  SPIED  FIRST,    trying  to  draw  him  from  the  small  band  that  trailed  ahead.   she  snuck  forward,  scrawny  little  shoulders  hunched  inwards,  the  threat  of  TEARS  ever  upon  her  lashes.      ‘  e-excuse  me---  ‘     she  played  nervous,  words  interrupted  by  little  gasps,      ‘  i  can’t  f-find  my  mama---   she  said  to  RUN  AWAY  ‘cause  there  was  monsters...  ‘

                  “C… COURT ME?”

The very words had his cheeks flushing, and he stepped closer, rather unsure of how to respond. It was a bit backward, to court now, given that they already had married. But, then, maybe not everything had to be done in order.

                    “SHOULDN’T IT BE THE MAN WHO COURTS THE                      WOMAN, THOUGH–?”

Lasair ducked her head bashfully, feeling embarrassed for having said anything in the first place. “Well, I know it wouldn’t really be courting, as we’re already married...” She paused, chewing on her lower lip.

“But...I like you a great deal, Alistair. I would like to know you better. If...if you wanted to court me, or whatever it would be, I wouldn’t be...disagreeable. To that. If you wanted to.”
