Dick closed his eyes, feeling the breeze on his face as the wheel came to a stop, the two of them at the highest point.

"It's almost like being on the trapeze again," he laughed a bit, "Except for the whole "not moving" thing."

Wally smiled, squeezing Dick's hand tight before wrapping an arm around his boyfriend and pulling him close, offering his bag of blue puffy cotton-candy. The younger took it gratefully, smiling before popping the fluff into his mouth.

"mmm."

"Now gimme a cotton-candy kiss."

"You nerd."

Dick held his head high, his arm looped through one of Wally's as they walked toward the buffet table. He smiled, charming as ever, waving and even stopping to chat with a few of the Wayne Enterprises bigwigs. But even Dick Grayson: Professional Optimist couldn't ignore the whispers and stares that the two of them were inciting.

Wally felt guilt curl in the pit of his stomach, his eyes trained on the tile floor and an eerie feeling of dread in his chest. What if Dick realized that he was too good for him? What if Dick was embarrassed of him?

When the redhead glanced at his boyfriend, the smaller boy was staring at him with adoration in his bright blue eyes.

"You look amazing in a suit, Wally."

Dick shows up at Wally's school with Wally's lunch?

"Wallace West to the Principal's office." the voice over the PA system made Wally jump in surprise. He glanced up at the speaker, raising both eyebrows.

What.

He stood slowly, gathering his textbooks and slinging his backpack over his shoulder as he headed toward the office. 

As soon as he opened the door, his face lit up. "Dickie!"

"Hi, Wally!" the boy grinned, stepping closer and holding out a brown paper bag, "I made you lunch."

Wally stared at the bag for a short eternity before meeting his boyfriend's eyes, a slow smile spreading across his lips.

"I freaking love you."

Wally Challenges Dick to a race through an obstacle course. Or laser tag. who doesn't like laser tag?

He tucked and rolled, pressing his back to the wall and holding his weapon up by his ear, holding his breath for a beat to keep himself silent. Soft footfalls coming closer, closer...

He spun and fired, smirking as he hit his mark.

"I win!"

"YOU SUCK, DUDE!"

Dick just grinned in return. He always won laser tag against Wally. Now to find Artemis.

hmm…. so how about you write about Karen Beecher and Malcolm Duncan? I doubt a lot of people know much about them.

I'll definitely look into that. I'm considering doing a Dick Grayson-centric thing though, just because like. That's going to be the easiest thing for me. y'know?
