    the nightmares; those vivid re-creations    of moments of defeat --- moments where    the avatar succumb to her own helplessness    at the hands of those willing to upset the    balance of the world around them for selfish    gain.

    times where life flashed before cerulean orbs.

    hues fall earthbound. how many times has she    witnessed her own near death. how many times    has that crippling fear stopped her from succeeding    where she once used to.

              the nightmares were KILLING her.              HOLDING her back from glory.

    palm came to a rest upon the other's shoulder; coarse    digits give a firm squeeze of reassurance to twin. though    nightmares were still prevalent in both, that didn't mean    they had to FEAR them.
