“Oh, hello!” Pearl greeted.

She vaguely recognized the other woman, though from where she couldn’t place. Pearl had her foil wrapped up and carefully strapped to her hip, as she’d just come from practice and wanted to get in a bit of a workout cool down before heading back to her room.

“Have we... met before? I’m Pearl.”

This was stupid, foolish. 

Illogical..

Her prime objective should be to find a war pad, and get back to her Diamond`s pelican as soon as possible to try an avoid a judgement she knew was coming to her. 

Blue Pearl should be dashing to her owner`s side and apologizing for her careless in getting split up.

But that voice..

It drew her, it was so familiar and yet like nothing she had heard before. It almost felt like the voice of Earth itself.

What was it?

Pushing past the mounts of green patches and brownish leafs under her feet the meek Gem gasped.

     “Oh, hey Garnet. Can I... ask you something? It’s about fusion.”      Though Steven was aware Garnet was in fact a fusion, he’d never      actually seen the gems who made her before. That was fine,      he would have been curious to meet them, of course, but that...      wasn’t what his question was about. It.. involved his own fusion      with Connie.

         “Garnet, I’m glad you’re here.” Offering a smile to the fusion, Rose          lifted the hem of her dress, stepping down from the warp pad. It was          incredibly likely that Garnet already knew Rose had wanted to find her,          but, nevertheless, Rose pressed on.

         “I’d like you to come with me on a mission. I’m... going to need your help.”
