They wanted a big, square, cozy, comfy shawl. This fit the bill. Fun to knit, it gets harder at the end when the sheer bulk makes the project slip off the needles. Lucidity - thanks for the pattern, @Beata Jezek

Time to block. Therin wanted a large, square shawl: this is it - 72″ square. Happy with this outcome and I think they will be, too.

I thought the 1500 yards I had would be enough. Nope. I ordered extra yarn, years after the original. The colors are SO DIFFERENT...but, the new yarn is at the outside and makes the shawl radiant. I’m really pleased with how that came out!

The last of the 2017 UFOs.  A square shawl baby blanket with a self-drafted crochet border.  I used  Lion Brand Mandala that I cut and rewound so all the grays were together, and a small amount of Lion Brand Ice Cream for a nice sunny border.
