My husband recently lost about 25 pounds. We’re really trying to eat less/exercise more...nothing extreme, just get a little healthier. So last night he tells me he’s craving chips and dip so he’s running to the store for Lay’s and French Onion Dip. I am torn...do I tell him not to go or do I stay quiet and support one minor indulgence? BUT - we’re also trying not to use debit/credit cards at all and only use cash. He doesn’t have enough cash on hand for chips/dip and his scheduled hair cut today. So i thinly sliced a summer squash, dipped it in egg, dredged in panko bread crumbs & spices, then baked. I quickly made some chipotle aioli and voila - chips and dip! Conundrums solved!
