Autumn Squash

Skipping right to November now, October was all Inktober, but looks like September….well, life got in the way.

One of the houses on my regular walking route grew some pumpkins in the past, so I’ve started keeping an eye out at their yard around Fall. Last year it seems they switched to yellow squashes. Fortunately for me, one was right over the fence, so I could take some pictures. It was such a happy, round squash that I decided to paint it. Used the Manero This Paint/oils. 😊

Octoberly reminder that Acorn Squash, Zucchini, Yellow Squash, Pumpkins, Spaghetti Squash, and many random ornamental squashes, are all 1 species: Cucurbita pepo.

Awhile back I posted a pic of the baby mangoes, so here’s an update:

I wanna say they’re maybe 5-6 inches (12-15 cm) long at this point.
