Look here comes Squee with yet another late zexal month entry. Haha, I like to think that Yuma and his friends are fairly active on instagram. This is meant to take place towards the beginning of the series when everyone still can’t see Astral and think he’s a figment of Yuma’s imagination.
Random insta headcanons below the cut
Kattobingu777 (Yuma): Yuma’s the type to just post random pictures of whatever he’s doing at the time, and often times just reposts cool pictures or funny memes. Since he’s a bit of a spammer and doesn’t really use tags he only has like 24 followers (So pretty much just his friends). Since Yuma’s not the brightest and is a bit of a lazy typer he has occasional misspellings and uses a lot of shorthand.
KoolSka8ter (Bronk): He also reposts a lot of memes or cool pictures (mostly like, band logos and stuff. Probably heavy metal bands). I also headcanon that Bronk flims himself doing some (somewhat lame) skateboarding tricks, but they are the type of tricks that are impressive to others his age. But, since Bronk actually knows how to use tags he has content that’s of interest to others he has a decent following. (Anywhere from 500 to 1.2K followers). He likes to brag to Yuma that he has so many followers and he’ll often post go-pro like videos of him beating Yuma to school or destroying him with his “mad boarding skillz”. Bronk constantly has typos and loves to use ‘z’s instead of ‘s’s.
Sweetie_Bird (Tori): Tori’s account is private, so she only has friends following her but she mostly posts pictures of her friends, pictures of flowers or cute things, and arts n’ crafts that she does. She’ll occasionally take a selfie or two if she’s dressed up nicely. She only capitalizes things occasionally and uses a lot of exclamation marks.
NumberHunt3r (Kite): Orbital helped him set up his account, and he was very annoyed to find out that the usernames “NumberHunter” and “Number_Hunter” were already taken so he had to settle on “NumberHunt3r”. (It was Orbital’s idea. He kind of threw a fit because ‘HE’S the ONLY TRUE number hunter”.) He doesn’t know to make his account private so he rarely posts. He mostly just uses his instagram to try and find rumors of number cards and to harass Yuma on all of his photos. The few photos he does have are of: Orbital’s selfies (he stole Kite’s phone without permission), a mirror selfie with his white proton change outfit , one of Heart, and one of him trying to take a selfie and dropping the phone.
Others not pictured:
Kit-t-Cathy (Cathy): Cats, cats, cats. Sooooo many pictures of cats. She also stole a few pictures off of Tori’s account which had her and Yuma them together (even if it was a group photo she was in the background of) and reposted them. She also has a few fashion pics. She has a decent following of about 400-650 followers.
Inthe--End (Caswell): Made an instagram and forgot about it. He’ll remember it occasionally and post a photo of his homework or whatever he’s working on. His account is private so only his friends from school follow him.
FlipFlopFlip (Flip): Occasional pictures of candy or practical jokes. Often times he’ll post photos of the clothes he’s laid out to wear the next day. He mostly just *flips* through instagram and looks at other people’s stuff.
QueenoftheKastle (Rio): Lots and lots of selfies! Occasionally she’ll post pictures she took of Shark when he wasn’t looking. (He always ends up demanding in the comments for her to delete the photos, but she never does). She’ll also post close ups of killer makeups she’s done and review makeup products. She has a popular account with about 7.8k followers.
Sharking (Shark): Rio makes fun of his user name a lot. He intended it to be a portmanteau of the words ‘Shark’ and ‘King’, but she reads it as “Shark-ing”. 80% of his photos are in black and white and 67% of his photos have angsty song lyrics. A lot of his selfies barely show his face if at all. He’ll like cover it with his hand or have picture only be of half of his face. Shark will occasionally take edgy photos of him and his “gang” (when he fell into the wrong crowd for awhile). In couple of these photos he’s seen to be smoking. What was not pictured in those photos was him coughing up a lung because he couldn’t handle the smoke. His sister thinks his account is really dumb and will occasionally tease him on his photos (nothing cruel, just like “oh look it MR.COOLGUY and his lame-gang”). Yuma occasionally comments on photos that worry him to make sure he’s okay. He only has about 200 followers.
_Astralllllll_ (Astral.....spelled with 7 ‘L’s): He insisted that Yuma made an account for him to “document” his time on earth. He’ll bug Yuma to take pictures of random things he finds interesting (like what ended up being in his observations, so like cats and Nelson dressed as the Sparrow while he was talking to some fans). When Yuma’s bored he’ll spam the account with selfies of himself making ridiculous faces. Astral only has two followers (Yuma and Tori) but eventually Kite finds the account and harasses Yuma and Astral enough to make Astral abandon the account out of fear that Kite will use it against him somehow.
Archtreyologist3 (Trey): Trey thinks that the user name was super clever because it combines his name and the word “archaeologist”. He mostly takes pictures of stuff he sees when he visits the local museum or of his duel monster cards (with filters, of course. He’s a fan of the toaster and hefe ones). He spends more time commenting on cool photos he sees in the archaeology tag than posting his own photos. He has about 80 followers.
Quattrololol and 4Quattroiscool4 (Quattro): Quattro actually has two accounts. Quattrololol is private and 4Quattroiscool4 is public. On his Quattrololol account he posts A LOT of memes and quite a few videos of pranks he pulls on people. On his private account he also has a selfie with each of his brothers (and in both his brothers looked reluctant). On his public account, 4Quattroiscool4, he has a LOT of selfies with his fans. Like, he’ll take pictures of him kissing their cheeks and whatnot. On this account Quattro has a couple of pictures of old dolls and him taking random photos of the floor with a comment on how he’s prepping for the next duel championship. He hassles Shark quite a bit with his private account. His private account has about 200-300 followers and his public account has 15.3k followers.
QVinton (Quinton): He took posted a photo of one old family picture he has in a frame, and a couple of photos of old books or whatever he’s reading at the time. He has like one or two food photos. Quinton also used to have a photo of him and Kite but he deleted it after their falling out. His account is private so only Quattro and Trey are following him. He uses tags even though it’s private. Kite tried to follow him, but Quinton blocked him.
ScoopsonMotorcycles (Kari): At first she just got an account to make sure Yuma wasn’t dueling, but he blocked her almost right away. Kairi then started to actually use the account regularly. She posts lots of food photos, photos of motorcycles, photos of half her face being like “ohh gosh I’m so tired! I pulled an all-nighter to finish my latest report”, and photos of her and her boyfriend at the time. She frequents the motorcycle tag and has follows all of Yuma’s friends to make sure he’s not getting into trouble. She has about 300-440 followers.
Here’s G-anon’s prize for guessing my 5th favorite character correctly in “Let’s Play a Game!” They wanted Gon and Kite so naturally all I could think about was PAINFUL FEELS... Sorry for making this kind of sad ^_^;;; I hope you like it!
