7 weirdos in an even weirder community college

Nine months after a one night stand between a badplace demon and a human, a living breathing one, Zack Bakshi is born. He is 99% demon. 1% Human. The badplace demon is weaker, after giving birth. She can no longer get out of her disguise and be in her true form fully.

They have twins next. One is half demon, half human, the other is fully human. They are identical, physically. The badplace demon becomes fully human after this, but her body is weak. She dies. The father takes the human child before he is named and gives him to a human family. He is named Abed Nadir. The other twin? Brad Bakshi.

Abed grows up, goes to community college, meets troy. Zack learns the way of badplace demons, the fun of torture. Brad cannot go to the afterlife alive, but he is tasked with staying on earth and encouraging humans to sin in new and exciting ways.

The events of The Goodplace happen. Zack does not like the idea of hell going away. So, he creates this new place. He takes souls here and there, mostly those who died poor, and sends them to this world he built. The games. Its the perfect hell, and no one but Brad suspects him.

Hwang Inho dies shortly after his wife does. He sits in mourning too long, no food nothing. He just… whithers away. Seong Gi-hun is killed by loan sharks, they find him curled up next to his mothers corpse. They both get sent to the games, part of their memories are wiped, and the entire events of the games happen as they do in the show… (except for the second game)

Abeds living in LA. Troy comes home from his trip. They both get super obsessed with shawn and gus from news articles. They vow that if one of them gets murdered, that the other would hire shawn and gus to crack the case.

BAM. A week later abed is murdered by zack bakshi. You see, Brad and Zack had been frantically looking for their long lost brother. Brad wanted to keep him the fuck away from zack, and zack wanted to kill Abed so he could torture the brother that ran away.

BAM. Troy hires Shawn and Gus. Brad Bakshi is the lead suspect. Theres a whole lot of fun stuff with that i have plannedz

BAM. Abed is sent to the games, s2 to be exact, and watches inho and gihun eye fuck for a few days. He finds the whole thing entertaining as fuck

Eventually the fic ends with abed being revived(murders done by badplace demons dont count) and the games being destroyed. Brad and Abed reunite. Uh. The fic ends with Troy and Abed helping shawn and gus with another murder case and troy feels like he knows them from more then tv but cant place why.

Gi-hun is a warmie

“Maturing is realizing the front man stares at gi-hun because he enjoys seeing him in pain, not due to love.” Is something I saw recently on instagram reels. A lot of people in the comments decided to vent their frustrations and dislike for the 457 ship. The dislike for a ship thats rapidly becoming a favorite doesn’t bug me too much, but there was one comment that rubbed me the wrong way. They said “I ship them as a joke. The people who actually ship them are weird though.”

A ship or pairing can be toxic. It can be strange and disgusting. You are allowed to dislike it. However, I do not like when people use that repulsion in order to justify being an asshole to other real human beings. You don’t call someone weird just because they take your crack ship more seriously then you do. Finding the idea funny means you see some of the appeal, and its just poor fandom etiquette to shit on someone for liking something.

I know the reason I find it so intriguing is because it is toxic and would never work. I personally know that it was not intended to look that way in canon and it wont be canon. However, if someone else analyzes the show and believes that the ship is backed up by In-ho’s staring, who am I to make fun of them for it? Media can be interpreted in many different ways. So long as a 457 shipper isn’t harassing the real people working on squid game into making it canon, they are fine.
