Me when a partier starts inking around
Me when the partier thinks my base, which I’m staying at to be out of the way, is perfectly okay to ink and I won’t splat them

Here's a lil vid of us partying!!!
I don’t get people who splat party squids.
- If your team mate is one of the party squids and you think killing their enemy pals will get them to stop and work, you’re wrong. They’ll sit and wait for them to come back, or just go to their spawn to meet up with them.
- If there are more enemy party squids than team mate party squids, you’re getting an advantage, and if there are the same number of enemy party squids and team mate party squids, it evens out anyway.
- You essentially put a target on your back anytime you even remotely come near them, and they’ll try to kill you, with varying levels of success depending on their numbers, awareness, and how good a player the enemy party squid(s) is/are. This essentially shoves you into respawn waiting time you could have avoided.
- Let’s say you do break up the party somehow (incredibly unlikely), what happens when the party squids are good players? You put a target on your back and lose.
I get that some people don’t like to party, but leaving party squids be has more advantages than splatting them.
** If you want your partying team mate to help you, even if you hate squid parties, flop with them a bit, shout booyah, and slowly lead them towards the battle. The goal is to make them happy, see you as their buddy, and thus want to protect/help you. Tossing bombs together is a fun activity to get them in the battling mood. So long as they don’t find another party squid, most of the time, they should join you seriously. For some party squids, even just a few seconds of partying then you running off is enough to sate them.
This has been a PSA. May party squids and battle squids co-exist peacefully.
Anyone wanna be friends on the switch for splatoon 2?
I'm accepting both squid partiers and non squid partiers. But if I'm in as private battle it most likely means I'm squid partying, so please don't be a party pooper
SpoopySoup is back again with their reminder about squid parties, particularly in ranked. The parties must've started getting to be too much again.
Ya'll should know how I feel about squid parties by now, I think (they're annoying; I don't personally break them up with my specials; but I will leave the queue as soon as I realize).

SpoopySoup is here with a reminder! No squid parties in ranked.
I would add no squid parties in any public matches. Ain't everyone got time for it.
