Not one of our usual updates today! It’s promo time! 

In case any of you are bored, you should check out Sandswept!  It looks like a pretty in-depth project, complete with flashes and some really nice art (as shown above!). They also have a Tumblr - squiddlesession. 

We’ve been wanting to do some more promos for a while, especially since we’ve gotten a lot of promos in the past from other groups. A new page will be set up soon with other promo’d Homestuck groups you can check out!

Sandswept: The Squiddle Session

Once upon a time, Andrew Hussie made a joke.

Months later, a group of people decided to take that joke seriously.

They failed.

Even more months later, the project was remembered, and a most unlikely revival took place. The squiddle project began to take form: a collaboratively plotted, written, drawn, animated fan adventure.

As of now, it's become one of the most important things in my life, second only to Fantroll Artroom and Doctor Who.  It's got everything you could want in an adventure:

Dashing heroines

Mysterious heroes

Impending danger

Friendships of the strongest sort

Moustachioed creeps

Silly shenanigans 

And even a walkaround flash!  That's right, interactive and everything.

Could it get any better?  Sure could!  Not only are we looking for readers, but we're in need of artists, writers, electronic musicians, programmers for flashes, and just about everything, really.  Check us out here, here, or here!

My dear followers, let me tell you about Sandswept.

Remember that one time Hussie joked that he would suddenly change the comic to be about the 48 squiddles, who were there before the trolls?  Well, we at Sandswept endeavor to make that joke a reality.  We have squiddle strifes, squiddle romancetypes, even squiddle trickster modes.  Not to mention, of course, squiddle sburb.  

However, we've recently been moving very slowly, and the reason is simple: we are in DIRE need of artists!  I know that a lot of you are amazing artists, so please, please, please, I cannot ask you enough to join.  The tumblr is here, where you'll find a link to the Google docs.  (Careful though- if you don't want to join but do want to read, the docs are pretty much 100% spoilers!) 

We also have a Skype group, which you can join if you choose to help out.  And if you can't do art, that's fine too, we can always use more writers and plotters and animators!  But lack of artists is really the thing that's keeping us from updating, much as we want to.
