These are Hanna Barbera supporting cartoon characters, Squiddly Diddly Touche Turtle, Magilla Gorilla, Wally Gator, Secret Squirrel aong with his assistant Moroco Mole. This is presumably a scene from the forgotten cartoon show Yogi's Gang. I'm personally using these characters as inspiration for my newer, more original characters.

Ok so, hear me out Squidly would totally be friends with sponge and pat, he's the closest thing to a natural version of that electro-therapy zapped squid there is because there's 1 (one) big difference between him and squid. he's not all up his own ass,

Squidly doesn't have to only enjoy mature things, or radiate a certain air of indifference or whatever else squid thinks he has to because he is a fucking JESTER, he's the "royal fool" and he seems proud of his job and happy with it, no shame in being seen prancing and singing with two fellow fools now is there? what are they gonna do, mock him? laugh at him? that's kinda his goal, to ENTERTAIN! He also doesn't have a long going grudge of them "ruining things" for him, in fact the very first thing they did once they met was without hesitation free him from the dungeon and then proceed to save the kingdom, they are HEROES!silly , goofy, clumsy heroes, but still. He's honestly THRILLED by their company. Of course he has his calmer moments, he's still an octopus after all, if he gets stressed tired or angry he may be a bit curt  but it's never ment with real malice. all that in mind I kinda like imagining this scenario, because at the end of the episode squidly WAS stuck in the current timeline. It would be kind of fun if he ended up having to spend a while in bikini bottom while the squirrel with a striking resemblance to the dark knight finds a way to bring him to his own timeline again, lest some wibbely wobbely timey wimey shenanigans happen and suddenly they're short a squidward if his greatgreatgreatgreatgreatgreat grandfather disappeared. speaking of squidward, squidly would probably put him face to face with a lot of insecurities about himself, about what he doesn't want to be perceived as but also what he would like to be most. and what he would like to be is happy , and unapologetically so, which Squidly seems really good at....asshole. and also that maybe , just maybe he kinda doesn't like seeing what his relationship with his " best friends" (their words not his) could be if he actually allowed them in. this is such bologna! what? so this cheap knock-off squidward shows up and suddenly spongebob ditches him just because that guy shows that he does enjoy his company? not that squidward does also! he does NOT! he's just saying, for all his claiming to be his friend and whatever he's found someone else to fawn over really fast! well fawn over was strong word, NOT THAT HE CARED, he DID NOT, ugh this is so dumb, he can't wait for that stupid royal dunce to leave so he can have his spo- his SPACE back, yeah his personal space without any EXTRA noisy addition to the already obnoxious duo! yeah! That's all.
