A break in 6 years of silence. I had completely forgot that tumblr exists since 2018. I never stopped drawing, and have been working continuously with various books and other projects. Many have been realized, and many more are still stuck inside of my head. Some time in 2021 I god this idea about a person in distress trying to escape from a dark cave, and while it seems that the end is finally near somethning unnerving suddenly appears. I had no idea what to do with it, and time passed. And then Ralph Wiggum suddenly appeared. I have no idea why, but suddenly he was there. Remember Ralph? He's is back. In ancient megalithic statue form. I found out that "In Ralph we trust" could be a fitting title.

Just made an account on instagram. It feels like I’m the last person south of the north pole who still has a hard time keeping up with these things. When it comes to so called social medias I’m quite stupid. I have tried to find out how they work but I don’t really understand how to use them. It probably sounds dumb but I find the whole thing very overwhelming. My physical body maybe 28 years old, but inside it lives a 94 year old man who thinks that everything new is scary.

One of my drawings is actually featured in a printed magazine. It’s an old one but it is still fun to have something in print. A Norwegian philosophy magazine called “Filosofisk supplement” or “Philosophical supplement” in English. The theme for this magazine is science. Al Khemet 2-12 Just finished number 12. For some reason it makes me think of this song. These drawings are fun to work on. I like drawing all the little details and constructing the whole composition. It is very fun to try to make all the different shapes and elements fit within a phi based grid. It probably doesn’t matter to anyone else, but I know that it is there. It can really make a picture “sit” just right. After all, our own bodies are based around phi. As an example all the bones in our hand and arm is divided into phi. All the way from the tip of the finger to the whole arm. This also goes much deeper. Phi is found everywhere in nature down to the microscopic scale. And just like a fractal it reproduces itself again and again both smaller and bigger. All the way up to the spiraling arms of the galaxies and beyond. It feels so good to think about it. Thank you for watching!

Al Khemet 2-11 Finished another drawing last night. Progress is slow, but I’m working on it. It’s really fun to draw in this style. With both heavy shading and hatching. The heavy shadows will (kind of) be worked into the Squidology comic too. There I have relied mostly on hatching alone until now. It will hopefully help to set the mood that I want to achieve.
