Mission name: Squid pepper dry | kanavai pepper dry Ground set up: Squid - 4 medium sized Peppercorns - 2tbsp Fennel seeds - 1tbsp Ginger garlic paste - 2tbsp Dried chillies - 3nos Gingerly oil - 10tbsp Water - 1cup Salt - 1tsp No. of disasters per fire : 4persons How to launch: 1. Grind or pound peppercorns + fennel seeds + ginger garlic paste + dry chillies into a coarse paste. 2. Heat a pressure cooker, pour gingerly oil and let it heat up. 3. Add the squid and give it a toss for about 2mins by adding salt. 4. Add the masala paste and let it cook for about a minute. Add 1cup of water and close the lid. 5. Allow it to cook for about 2whistles. Turn off and open the lid once the pressure drops. 6. If water remains allow it to dry or you can serve it as a gravy. Mission launched: Good combination for rasam rice. Post mission expedition: 1. Remove the black ink and rinse the squid thoroughly 3-4times in running water. 2.
