Hi, I just wanted to check in and see if you're ok. I'm the one behind the anon Squiggles, and I was mostly just shy and honestly afraid of being creepy about things. I did try to send off anon once, including a picture of my childhood cat, but I don't know if the wifi connection ate it instead. If it did go through and was uncomfortable for you, I do want to apologize. My social skills were massively in the works. But after that, in any case, it was just easier to send asks anonymously.
How is university treating you? I hope you're well, in general and beyond just being a student.
And for the cat tax: this is my childhood cat.
Here's a picture my mom took while I was in high school more than fifteen years ago. His name is Sammy, which was short for Samson. I miss him, and he was amazing therapy for the both of us. He even endeared himself my dad to him when he was a kitten by curling up in his cowboy hat and falling asleep in it. My parents went nuts looking for him while I was at school. We had so many nicknames for him over time, like Measey. I was nine years old when I adopted him as a barn kitty. We had him until just after I turned 21.

Squiggles how do I explain how much of an important role you played in my brain chemistry. I swear to god I used to look forward to every single anon you sent and was always sooo excited to answer you. Plus I used to reread what you sent during the war because it was comforting.
I did not get a picture of your cat:( he’s adorable. I religiously answer cat inboxes but it must’ve gotten lost in the multiverse so I’m sorry about that.

I’m doing ok, my friend is trying to to set me up with her boyfriends friend so I’m kind of excited tbh, they’re getting engaged soon inshallah and maybe I’m on the way too. Other than that really my life revolves around being a student tbh.
