So apparently my mental health doesn’t like the way I currently interact with tumblr i.e it has become a source of stress rather than a good feelings place, so I am probably gonna be unfollowing people to thin down my dash and maaaybe not interacting with people much/at all/probably disappearing for lengths of time

Basically gotta figure out how much of this is good for me and how much of this is AH FUCK WHAT THE FUCK

Got a dumb anon over my stupid dicemasters post last night what even?

-turns off anon- I ain’t feeding no trolls but yeah the joke is that DC felt so protective of their characters that everyone knows belong to them and that have copyright information printed on the bottom of every. single. card that they felt the need to also include TM in the names of each and every single card, even when it looks awkward as hell. Even when it means they can’t, for example, list their character ‘The Mad Hatter’ as ‘The Mad Hatter’ and have to call him Jervis Tetch, because you can’t trademark ‘Mad Hatter’. Literally, their insistence on trademark symbols on every card meant they couldn’t use their own character’s alias.

which is all a pretty good metaphor for the way brodudes cling insistently to every single shred of their ‘manly’ cred even when it makes them look dumb or actually undermines them. The way certain kinds of men value the image of being manly more than anything actually important or useful. That.
