A gentle reminder that fat Littles deserve to feel safe, confident, and cute in whatever space they choose to occupy, and if you disagree I literally hate you.
Honestly, you can do so much and get away with it, the only reason we get anxious about it is because we know the very specific reason we’re doing things.
Like, you keep stuffies in your book bag/bag? Just say it helps you feel better.
You keep tethers/binkies in your bag? Just say you have an oral fixation or it can help keep you from grinding your teeth.
You dress in a typically childish manner? Tell people it’s your aesthetic, most people won’t care.
You have a general interest in childish things? Nostalgia, or any other combination or things.
Like, a lot of regressors get anxious thinking someone might spot something that makes others think they’re weird, but literally no one thinks that way. Every time my regression drips into my real life, most times no one thinks it’s weird. My friends think my stuffed animals are adorable, they think my little voice is the cutest thing, we talk about all my favorite shows because generally my friends might have watched them or seen them too. Don’t be worried about what others think, cause more than likely they won’t have any real harsh opinion of it.
Someone pls talk to me about Stardew Valley 🥺🥺🥺 I am in love with this game
A great way to calm down when in little space, or hoping to regress is by blowing bubbles! Breathe in deeply and slowly breathe out, watch the bubbles float up and then down, note how iridescent each is and how they float. This can both help calm your breathing and give you something nice to focus on.
Moss Garden! Moss Garden! Moss Garden! Moss Garden! Moss Garden! Moss Garden! Moss Garden! Moss Garden! Moss Garden!
Me and my friends have sensory issues with certain textures. Often when someone find Bad textures we all must touch it to confirm that it is a bad texture, all be grossed out by How bad the texture is, and then rub my friend’s head to make the gross feeling go away. They have become our “cleanser” because their hair is cut short and it’s a good stim, and they get headpats.
Even though I know my little space isn’t gross or bad in anyway, I don’t think I’m interested at all in telling my friends about it, honestly. I’m not interested in having the conversation about why I do this, or what that entails, or how I do it. And honestly it’s not really their business. My little space is a private coping mechanism for me, outside of this blog of course.
