quick sketch 🤲
just finished the latest season of She Ra and i think my soul ascended to the ethereal plane
I had a dream where Brooklyn 99 and she ra were mashed together and naturally Rosa Diaz was Catra and jake was giving her advice on how to get adore back and I think my subconscious is onto something
Wassup peeps I’m listening to Love of My Life by Queen and thinking about Catradora, especially from Catra's POV
G'day to y’all
glimmer i love you

Valve DI anyone - Part II
Evening.
Just thought I'd post a quick progress report. It fired up just fine, passed signal but also had a fair bit of hum. Using my powers of deduction, guesswork, I surmised that it would be a poor grounding scheme at fault. I think I mentioned that in my previous post.
Well I was right. Fnar fnar fnar.
I added one ground wire - that I was sure I was supposed to add - and BINGO. Lovely sound bass DI. I'm not going to bother with shielded cabling as it's dead quiet now already.

Now if anyone reading this has ever tried to capture the glow of vacuum tubes with a camera, I'm sure they appreciate that second image.
One working Dual-stage SRPP Valve DI? Yup. Sounds great too, AND if my initial tests are proven correct a Sansamp esq. pedal in front of it works really well.
Cheers!
P.S. 101 posts? I need to get out more.
edit: 04/07/13 - Clearing my work PC I stumbled across this:
See the incompatible cases behind, and then the correct one. Turns out it really is worth planning things like this in Sketchup.
