A Scleroderma illustration for my sister, who has Diffuse Scleroderma, and also does some work for SRUK (Scleroderma and Reynauds UK).
The red chrysanthemum represents hope, love and rest. The statue hand is a representation of the skin-hardening effects of the condition (as suggested by my sister). The sword is breaking through the ring of pain (red), with the support provided by SRUK, and friends and family.
