Weirdly, T was much easier to get a hold of, quickly, than X was. For whatever reason nowhere had except PlayAsia, which be able to get it to me before July. I’m knee deep in a replay of V, which according to my trophy data I hadn’t touched at all since 2017 lol.
Something I guess I either hadn’t noticed or forgotten is that V was also an anniversary milestone game, the 25th. So it’s interesting comparing it to 30 ok those merits.
I remember being taken aback at the time, because a few of the series in V are the sequels to series that were in J, which was still fresh in my mind at the time so it felt weirdly geared towards appealing to me specifically.
First SRW game I ever played was J, mostly because GBA emulation is extremely easy and J was at the time one of the only games that had a full English fan translation for it. Excellent video game, really difficult in an old school video game kind of way. Should give it a replay at some point.

Aside from the bias it gets from being the first SRW game I played, the level of customization it gives you upfront makes it probably my favorite. It's something that's kind of been lost in the more modern titles.
Also, they need to start bringing these guys back like they do other games original units/characters. Had a whole ass game where they had just about every Super Robot Wars protag and robot showed up to celebrate the franchise but god forbid Calvina Coulange and her 3 weed smoking girlfriends show up to kick ass in the Bellzelute.
