Very rare ‼️71 units of the Malibu SS Wagon with the optional 454 V8 were sold in 1970. Today there are an estimated 20 - 25 in existence and they expectedly are in much demand.
The 1970 model year was the first time GM allowed divisions to install engines larger than 400 cu in in their mid-sized cars, benefiting the Chevelle SS. This infused a massive 450 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque to it and became known as the "King of the Muscle Cars" and is one of the most sought-after vehicles of the era.
