a beat in 20 minutes

Last night I set myself a challenge: I announced on social media that I'd compose a beat in 20 minutes and then record and upload it on Soundcloud. I did, and this is how it sounds:

The track was composed using one of my Max/MSP patches playing a SSD4 drum sample kit. While recording I played some parameters in real time, but after the break at 1.53 the program is playing by itself until I thinned it out towards the end.

No edits/mixing/mastering, just some compression.
