A/N: Hey everyone! 🙏 First thing's first we are SO, SO, SO sorry for essentially missing last week entirely. Life, as it often does, got very hectic recently. Then, this chapter took on a life of its own.It would have originally been two, separate chapters with a bit of a cliffhanger in the middle, but due to the extra week of waiting we ended up putting you all through (again, our apologies!) -- we decided to just give you both of them in one!

So, as a heartfelt thanks for you all, and yet another apology for quite a streak of tardiness since the holidays, we give you 40 pages (20k) of, hopefully, endearing chaos. And, our gratitude for any thoughts/comments/feels you might fancy inclining to leave about it. This was quite an effort 😅

We truly hate leaving you guys waiting, and are hoping this early/late double post will help get us back on track. Though we have every intention of figuring out a more organised plan moving forward so this doesn't happen.

A/N: Hello lovely people, sorry for the longer than usual wait!  Starting to post here and on my side blog @slytherinofdisorder​ due to some ‘not showing up in search results’ issues last time.  

We've  been very busy the last couple of weeks, a lot of work stuff happening, and we're very sorry! But we  definitely wanted to make sure this was in the best possible shape  before releasing it. We think we've accomplished that, but you tell us!

Now listen close: this is a dreamscape segment, so this is your smut warning. It applies  more so for the next chapter than this one, but this one is far from  innocent. Though as it calls back to the Summer of 1998, there is also a  light warning for PTSD/emotional turmoil, mentions of blood/massive  injury, one-sided alcohol ingestion, 18-year-old Hermione, and technical  if not explicitly defined infidelity. In fantasy, at least.

i know lots of you have read EVERY SINGLE snamione fic out there, so surely someone if bound to know the one i want  all i can remember: hermione was being trained to protect harry and snape helped train her, in one chapter they were fighting with knives??? 

i must have read it years ago and i can’t remember anything else, but if it sounds familiar to anyone please let me know!
