Dating Shin soukoku except its Atsushi calling Akutagawa 'Ryunosuke' once as a joke but Akutagawa actually doesn't mind it all that much because Atsushi knows him so well it feels... right.

Those ways in which you refer to your significant other being so significant.

When Akutagawa calls Atsushi over somewhere and he still calls him 'weretiger' like he would since their first meeting. It just used to be

'weretiger' (derogatory) and now it's

'weretiger' (affectionate). Those simple changes in intonation that no one but the two of them notice, yet are so incredibly important.

So short story, my sweet baby boy my feline son, Zane threw up a hair ball at like 2 in the morning and after cleaning it up i couldn’t fall back asleep. So what I did instead was write chapter 6 of my sskk childhood friend fan fic and drew two scenes from the early chapters; specifically chapters 1 & 2

They are only one year apart in this fic and there is a few time skips just because I wanted to write some some of the stuff that was already lingering in my head.

Falling-in-love Shin soukoku where they both run into each other at the thrift store on the weekend, Akutagawa scouting for antiques and Atsushi looking to expand his wardrobe. They see each other in line while getting checked out, by some miracle don't argue and end up spending the day together.

They walk along sunny sidewalks and Akutagawa finds that somehow, Atsushi's smile is even brighter than the bright star in the cerulean sky. They talk and laugh, out of uniform and without a reason to fight beyond playful bickering.

Lunch is Atsushi only eating one bowl of chazuke because he doesn't have much saved up at the moment. Akutagawa stares at him when he says he's full and Atsushi knows he's been found out. In the end he doesn't pay, but Akutagawa seems quite pleased with himself to cover the bill so Atsushi doesn't worry over it.

They walk through parks and go off trails through areas more like forest and bask in the presence of each other with no one else around to bother them. They linger in patches of sunlight and warmth and eat dinner together too because they can and nothing has interrupted the good mood.

The sunset is beautiful that particular dusk. They sit on top of a building that overlooks Yokohama's docks, one probably no other duo could scale. Akutagawa soon gets a call about his work and Atsushi admits he ought to go back to the agency dorms soon anyways.

They don't part ways with their usual animosity, only quiet smiles and satisfaction at a day well spent.

Dating shin soukoku except it's Akutagawa inviting Atsushi to tea with him and Gin and Atsushi is super nervous the whole time because he's aware Gin is a rather talented assassin and his self esteem isn't nearly high enough that he'd think anyone would approve of him as a good boyfriend.

Cue Atsushi acting weird the whole time because he's trying to make a good impression. That is until Gin finishes a sip of tea and tells Atsushi that there's no need to impress her, she thinks he's fine already.

Akutagawa is confused. "You meant to impress her? I thought you were just sick or something. You're too much, weretiger (affectionate)." Atsushi frowns but Gin laughes and it turns out to be an overall pleasant experience to have tea with the Akutagawas.
