My other pieces for the @sskk-bigbang! This time featuring Ghoul’s BEAST AU fic “The Hangman’s Noose”.

It’s been great working with you since August Ghoul, and I look forward to continuing working with you on this masterpiece. Yes, you heard right! This fic is getting updated even after the Big Bang event is over, meaning more artworks to be made! An excuse to make more beast au related art. 

Excerpt:

For a human, slipping one's head into a noose is to accept that death has finally won. To catch and trap an animal; however, is a whole other feat. Meanwhile, Atsushi figures he has crossed the line between man and monster a long time ago, caught somewhere in the middle. What's to say he can't break through a near unbreakable noose? If Atsushi's already walked a tight rope all throughout his life, then it's not the end yet, not until he's taken his last breath. For Atsushi, the noose in his story is a single, thorny white collar. The rope's tightening. Time to test how long he can hold on.

[BSD - Shin Soukoku Big Bang 2019]

Akutagawa is standing in the very same position, face still turned towards the ground, shoulders hunched and defensive, but emanating exhaustion with every heavy breath. It makes something inside Atsushi hurt, makes his heart feel as if it’s being held too tight, and he gets himself to his feet, guided by the need to help, to do something.

And with that, the SSKKBB 2019 is officially complete.

Together, we created 19 projects of fanfiction and fanart featuring Shin Soukoku in the span of only a few months. I want to extend a heartfelt Thank You to everyone who participated in this challenge, not only by contributing to our new Collection, but also by creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere in the Discord server.

I hope everyone had a wonderful time during this project. I know it wasn’t the easiest project to undertake, but I hope you all have created or contributed to something you can be proud of.

I had fun making this piece even if I don't think it's up to par to the quality I would have liked yet whatever I tried, I could never get it right.

[Hotarubi no Mori e AU] Small little Atsushi's life changed one day as he gets lost in a giant forest, with no sign of his grandmother around. He is thus saved by a... kind? spirit Akutagawa who brings him back to the edge of the forest. Atsushi then makes a promise to this spirit, to visit him once every year. However, no matter how close they get, Atsushi is never allowed to touch them.

My other piece for the @sskk-bigbang has arrived! This one is a companion to Sabi’s fic which you can find here. I didn’t get the chance to read their fic as we were going so I based it on the summary quoted above from the pair up assignments, my apologies if it’s not totally accurate
