Elena said in her last voiceover that, "Even after our long and happy life together, Damon is still worried that he'll never see Stefan again." So, pretty much DE had a long and happy life together before they both found peace, Elena with her family and Damon with Stefan. Was that part confusing? I thought it was known that they lived even though we saw what was essentially them each dying and reuniting with their loved ones.

LOL that’s more or less what he said and it was fun going on the rides, but when it’s raining like this, you’re kind of freezing your butt off the rest of the day. And then you’re also paying the price with a really nice cold!
